Doug Dempster (Chair) - is married to Sally with three children And has taught at Mt Albert Grammar School, Kuranui, Te Puke High School and Tikipunga High School. Doug moved to Mairangi Bay in 1975 to become Head of Department for Mathematics at Rangitoto College and in 1987 became a Deputy Principal and was part of the growth of Rangitoto as it doubled in size to 3000.
He moved to Northcote in 2001 and retired in 2002 undertaking contract work at Mt Albert Grammar School in 2003. Doug played senior hockey in Auckland for three years and then in Wairarapa, Bay of Plenty and Whangarei and was chair of the Auckland Secondary Schools’ Hockey and NZ SS Hockey teams. He is now Patron of ABC Hockey Club. He is a previous member of the Auckland Anglican Diocesan Council, the Anglican Trusts Board and the Northern Regional Ecumenical Chaplaincy Board.

Haddo D’Audney (Deputy Chair) - is the managing director of business consultancy dbc which he cofounded while working in the broadcasting industry in 1975. The business' earlier focus was in manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing and training. Later dbc became a consultancy to assist organisations with their culture, and particularly interpersonal training. His company today mentors and coaches businesses with their organisational challenges.

Peter Jansen - is qualified as a chartered accountant and has over 35 years of experience in a wide variety of roles and industries. He has an extensive background in trusts management, general management, board governance, accounting property, financial and investment management. He recently retired from his position as Chief Executive of Trust Investments, having formed the company in 2000. Peter is currently a Trustee and director of several Charitable Trusts and companies.

Ben Palmer – is a chartered accountant with over 36 years experience. He has recently retired from Ernst & Young where he was a senior partner. Whilst at Ernst & Young he established a governance and business risk management consulting practice. Prior to that he was an audit partner providing audit and consulting services to many listed companies, private companies, Government entities and charitable organisations. He currently works as a professional director and business consultant.
Ben is currently a director with SPCA Auckland Inc. and he also chairs the Lifeline Auckland Endowment Trust. Ben is married to Sue, they have 3 adult sons and one grandson.

Rod Watts - joined Presbyterian Support Northern as chief executive in August 2006. He has a long history in health and disability services in Australia and New Zealand and was previously national manager of planning and development in the New Zealand Ministry of Health’s Disability Services Directorate.
Originally from Melbourne, Rod has a variety of research, clinical and management experience including work in palliative care, mental health, general hospital social work, oncology, rehabilitation and trauma management. Dr Watts immigrated to New Zealand in 1996 to set up and then manage a new adult rehabilitation service for Auckland Healthcare (now Auckland District Health Board). He then spent 5 years as a manager in the Ministry of Health, initially running the Northern office of the Disability Directorate, followed by managing the national Planning and Development team.
Rod's qualifications include a Masters of Social Work, focused on distress among people with cancer, and a PhD in the field of psychiatry, based on research on victims of major bus crashes.

Chris Hight – is a counsellor with over 20 years experience. She has a Masters degree from Auckland University and has spent her time exploring new ventures, being the first counsellor in Intermediate schools in New Zealand and setting up New Zealand's first web-based counselling service. She works mainly with adults and couples.
Chris is married to Stuart, a Padre in the Airforce, and has two adult children and 5 grandchildren. She has a passion for helping people and to that end has had her father living on their property since her mother died suddenly 3 years ago.

James Smith - is a very experienced secondary School Teacher in science and mathematics and a lay pastor within his Church. James was appointed by the Congregational Union of NZ – Auckland District as their representative four years ago.
James brings a worldly view on a wide range of social and governance interest topics and is a keen conservationist and mathematician.

Noeline Westley - was raised and educated in Auckland and has two adult daughters and three granddaughters. Noeline’s business background has been in management and she assisted her late husband Bryan in their typesetting business for 20 years before branching out on her own.
Noeline spent the next few years managing a large medical practice and in 1992 she was offered the opportunity to peruse a career in real estate. Noeline spent the next 16 years in sales where she consistently achieved results at the top level. In 2008 she was offered a management position which entails supporting a high performing sales team. In her leisure time Noeline enjoys reading, singing in the church choir or just spending time with her granddaughters.
