Chinese Lifeline 15th Anniversary Dinner

| On 16th October, I attended a function to celebrate Chinese Lifeline’s 15th anniversary. The friend-raiser and fund-raiser function was held at the Novetel Hotel in Greenlane. Every one of the 240 seats was filled by friends and supporters of Chinese Lifeline. The immaculately set tables, the superbly organised event, immaculately detailed choreography, a great M.C, well presented food and prizes to drool over along with the best of people made this an event to be proud of. The dresses, each person displayed at their best, were also a sight to admire. |

The raffle created a stir of excitement with a special burst of delight for the winners of the major prizes – the beauty pack, the diamond necklace and the Gucci handbag. Everything worked out well and a great time was had by all attendees. If you attended - thank you for your support.
Such events though do not just happen and while Chinese tradition is not to mention names of the people behind the scene, the Pakeha tradition of acknowledging their work must prevail. So to Flora, leader, facilitator and tireless organiser along with Sybil Au, Eric Cheung, Sarah Frayne, Queenie Ip, Grace Kan, Meggan Lam, Jiehua Lu, Perpetua So, Sheryl Tseng and Christin Yiu special thanks for a superbly organised event. |

Thank You to the husbands, partners, sons and daughters that assisted as hosts. For the record over $20,000was raised at the function to support the work of Chinese Lifeline.
