Dear Friend
This last couple of months have seen some changes at Lifeline Auckland - Bryan Wilshire has recently moved on from his role as CEO to pursue other business and personal interests.
During his 14 years with Lifeline; initially as a Board Member and latterly as Chief Executive; Bryan was always passionate about the services that Lifeline provides and a great advocate for those people in our community that turn to Lifeline for support at times of darkness and desperation.
Over the coming months and years, with your help, Lifeline will continue to provide the same level of high quality and accessible support and counselling to the community as we have under Bryan's leadership.
And while one chapter closes; another opens and I am very pleased and honoured to have been asked by the Board to take on the role of CEO at Lifeline.
As a brief introduction you will find an article about me within this e-newsletter together with some ways to keep stress free over the Christmas and New Year season. Denis Bunbury also shares some thoughts about the changing and traditional roles of men and women and the context this provides in terms of the counselling relationship.
I look forward to sharing more thoughts and ideas with you over the coming months but in the meantime hope you and your loved ones have a safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Year
Best wishes
Peter Jansen
Chief Executive
