Payroll giving:
Payroll Giving is an IRD function that allows employees to make regular donations to approved charitable organisations, of which Lifeline is one. The advantage of supporting us in this way is that your tax credit is applied immediately the deduction is made - that's a 33c credit for every dollar you donate (under our official name 'Lifeline Foundation Charitable Trust').

Employers are not obligated to provide this service to their staff, so you will need to check with your payroll administrator to see if they can deduct regular contributions from your earnings. If they can, then you will need to provide them with our details, the amount and frequency that you wish to make. IRD have information on their site explaining the process here

If you decide to support us in this way, please let us know so that we can ensure you receive the appropriate acknowledgement.

When you make a donation to Lifeline through the EasyGiving app or website they do all the paperwork and store your receipts for you and make it easy to claim your tax credits.
