Dear Friend

LifeLine Auckland has just undergone its accreditation audits for the Ministry of Social Development and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.

Each audit undertakes a detailed search of our organisation seeking evidence of best practice in action rather than just a written policy statement. Seldom is a stone left unturned by the audit process and naturally we have no say as to what aspects the auditors check and verify in their inspection.

It is easy to take for granted some of the back room preparation that goes into these audits but in fact many weeks of hard work goes into the assembly of documentation and accompanying evidence of practice.

To achieve a fully clean audit without a single recommendation is almost an unheard of occurrence - thanks to the hard work of Rita and Denis (along with their teams) who manage this audit process - LifeLine Auckland has achieved this exemplary status and is regarded as an exceptional site.

I pass on my sincere thanks and congratulations to Rita and Denis and their respective teams of colleagues and volunteers who all contribute to our accreditation result.

Best wishes

Bryan Wilshire
