E-Newsletter June 2007 (to subscribe click here  and scroll to bottom of page!)
Date

 14th June 07

Dear Friend

Welcome to the June issue of the LifeLine e-newsletter.

It seems that winter is well and truly upon us and at this time of year it is as important as ever for us to take care of ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually. Half way through the year can also be a time for reflection and re-evaluation of our priorities or for just taking some well deserved time out from busy lives.

This issue of the newsletter has some articles and quotes which we hope you will enjoy - some light hearted and some in a more reflective vein. We also have a quote about the need to honour our intuitive selves.

In addition you will find our regular article introducing a LifeLiner - this month Toni Finlayson and in the "What's happening at LifeLine?" segment we have updates on the Kidsline 19th Birthday Bash, Refugee LifeLine and the LifeLine Annual Report.

Happy Reading

Best wishes

Bryan Wilshire

Freedom from self-improvement day

by Sarah Frayne

I almost dare not admit that I enjoyed the concept of this day - a movement for taking just one day out of life where we bury the "shoulds", take a break from the "if onlys" and for one day at least celebrate the way we are "just as we are" - right at this moment.

Take a moment to re-evaluate

by Dan Porus

Since I was a young child one thing has absolutely terrified me. Death. Not my own, but that of someone close to me that I love. I had been very fortunate in my life not to have to face this phobia. However a few weeks ago I was forced to come face to face with this fear.

And finally.......a quote

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
