Lifeline National Appeal

Lifeline New Zealand will hold its first national appeal on 20th February. Lifeline branches across New Zealand are organising regional campaigns and fundraising events.

Lifeline Auckland will be fundraising in the CBD on February 20th.  We will also be in Newmarket and St Lukes shopping centre on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd.

We are aiming to raise $10,000 over the three days.  Many thanks to those Lifeline supporters who have volunteered to fundraise with us.  We’re still looking for extra volunteers to do a 2 or 3 hour shift.

If you’d like to help, please email Sarah with your availability and contact  number Or call her on (09) 909 8757

Listener Appeal Envelopes

It is crucial for Lifeline to increase its support base and introduce new supporters to our work - with no Government funding we rely entirely on our donors and supporters to keep our services going .

To coincide with our national appeal, there will be a fundraising appeal envelope in The Listener magazine. The appeal will target Auckland Listener subscribers only and has a theme dealing with the grief, anxiety and depression that many in our community experience.

In addition to the insert in The Listener, we are also looking for volunteers to help distribute the envelopes in mail boxes in their local area.

This is a great way to enjoy the warm evenings by strolling around your neighbourhood and popping an appeal envelope in to mail boxes - and rest assured....you won't need to knock on any doors or ask for donations!

If you can assist with this activity (the appeal envelopes will be available from 16th February) please email Lyndsey with your phone number and let us know which area you can deliver envelopes to.

Lifeline Auckland Logo

To the right you will see the new official logo for Lifeline Auckland.

The logo uses a koru to symbolise the importance of connecting people within our communities - this "connection" sits at the heart of what we do here at Lifeline.

The koru was chosen as an integral part of the logo as it also symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace.

To prevent waste of precious resources we will phase in the new look logo as we use up existing stocks of letterhead, envelopes and brochures over the next few months - we will also update our website and newsletter in due course to reflect the change - so keep an eye out for the new look Lifeline!
