WeCare call back confirms progress

By Bryan Wilshire

The “WeCare call back” is a service offered to callers to the National Depression Line and Mensline that gives callers the option of receiving a call from a counselor at an agreed time and on a number that is safe for them.

“WeCare call back” is permission based and checks in with callers to confirm progress with suggested care plans and strategies that are designed to help them improve their own health and wellbeing.
Developed by Gary Clifford in his time as Chief Executive Officer of Gambling Helpline, “WeCare call back” confirms people are more than just OK but making good progress achieving their wellbeing goals.

Over the last 18 months Lifeline has been able to track real progress with people as they work through their experiences with depression and achieve supported recoveries.

The National Depression Initiative is a phone support service.   Operating between 8.00 am until 12.00 midnight every day.   The John Kirwan series of adverts are the face of this campaign with Lifeline acting as the ears and voice of the service.
