The role of the Trust is to acquire funds from third party philanthropic funds, gifts, bequests and donations.
The purpose of the Lifeline Foundation Charitable Trust is to enhance and support the emotional and mental wellbeing or people in New Zealand through the provision of Lifeline Services provided by PSN through the activities; not limited to:
- Telephone counselling services, face to face counselling and education
- Raising funds or other assets
- The maintenance, development and retention of trained volunteers and
- The encouragement and promotion of volunteerism
